Locapage is located just 200 meters from Taussat beach, a mere 2 or 3-minute walk. You can go there in your swimsuit with a towel over your shoulder!

Can we come without a car?

Absolutely. All shops (bakery, restaurants, Proxi supermarket, fishmonger, pharmacy, etc.), the beaches, the oyster port, and even the forest are accessible on foot or by bicycle. Facture Biganos train station is nearby, and the Alégo bus connects to Taussat.

Are the shops within walking distance?

Yes, bakery, restaurants, mini-market, pharmacy and local market are within walking distance of Locapage.

Is there parking?

Yes, private parking is available near the accommodations, at no extra charge.

Is it possible to recharge an electric vehicle nearby?

Yes, several charging stations are available around Locapage: at Cassy (D3), at Lanton (Blagon road) and at the Intermarché shopping center. The northern part of the Bassin has many easily accessible charging points, and even more around Arcachon and the southern part of the Bassin.

Is it possible to cycle to the Arcachon Basin?

The Arcachon Basin boasts numerous cycle paths accessible directly from Locapage. You can easily reach Andernos-les-Bains, Lanton, or Audenge by bike while enjoying the coastal and forest scenery.

Do you offer bicycle rentals?

No, but La Bricaillerie, right next door, offers very good bike rentals by the day or by the week.

Are the studios suitable for a couple?

Yes, each studio is ideal for two people, with a double bed (or two single beds), a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, a TV, and a dining area. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway or a relaxing week.

Is it possible to cook on site?

Yes, you have a fully equipped kitchenette: Microwave, fridge/freezer, dishes, coffee maker, kettle and utensils for cooking just like at home.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes, bed linen and towels are included for the rooms and studios. You don't need to bring anything, just your personal belongings.

Are the studios air-conditioned?

Our studios are naturally cool thanks to their good insulation and their orientation towards the morning sun. A fan is also available for your comfort during the summer.

Can a baby cot be added?

Yes, upon request, we can provide you with a travel cot at no extra charge, subject to availability.

Are the studios accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Please contact us to discuss your specific needs. Some accommodations are on one level, including one with an adapted bathroom, but we do not yet have the PMR (Persons with Reduced Mobility) label.

Are pets allowed?

Please contact us directly to discuss this. Certain conditions apply depending on the season and the size of your pet.

What time can we arrive and depart?

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 11am. If you have any specific needs, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do you only offer weekly stays?

No, you can book for a few days or for a week. Short stays are welcome, depending on the season.

Is end-of-stay cleaning included?

Yes, end-of-stay cleaning is included in the price. We simply ask that you leave the studio in a reasonable condition upon your departure.

Is a deposit required when booking?

Yes, a 25% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The balance is due 15 days before arrival.

Is Locapage close to Arcachon?

Yes, Locapage is ideally located on the north Arcachon Basin, about 40 minutes from Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat.

Where can I enjoy oysters nearby?

Several oyster huts and typical ports of the Arcachon Basin are located a few minutes from Locapage, notably in Taussat, Cassy, Andernos and Audenge.

What are the must-see attractions around Locapage?

The Dune du Pilat, the Île aux Oiseaux, the oyster ports, the colorful huts of Biganos, the coastal paths, the Domaine de Certes, the ocean beaches, the oyster tastings, not forgetting the local markets and Bordeaux less than an hour away.
